How to play

Master the map.

Flag Quiz

A flag is shown. In multiple-choice mode pick the correct country; in type mode, type its name — minor typos and either English or German names are accepted. On hard, look-alike flags appear as decoys. With the optional timer on, faster answers earn bonus points.

Capitals & Cities

A country is shown. Choose or type its capital — or switch to Cities mode to name a major city instead. With the optional timer on, faster answers earn bonus points.

Outline Quiz

Only the country's silhouette is shown — no flag, no name. Identify it by its shape.

Country Trivia

You start with one trivia fact about a country and can reveal up to four. Guess the country — the fewer facts you reveal, the more points you score.

Higher or Lower

Two countries are compared by a stat — population, area, density, GDP or number of neighbours. Guess whether the second is higher or lower than the first. Keep the streak alive!

Find on Map

You're given a country name. Tap it on the world map. Get it right and its flag stays pinned so you can track your progress. You can focus on a single continent or the whole world, and pinch or scroll to zoom in for tiny nations.

Draw the Outline

A country is named. Draw its outline with your finger or mouse in one stroke. We score how closely your shape overlaps the real borders.

Border Chain

Starting from one country, name as many of its land neighbours as you can — each correct answer extends the chain. Switch on the optional timer for extra pressure.

Rank It

Several countries are shown. Tap them in order from highest to lowest for the given stat (population, area, density, GDP or neighbours). You score for every country you place in the right spot.

Scripts & Money

A clue is shown — a currency, or a word in a country's native script. Pick the matching country. The four options never share the clue, so there's exactly one right answer.

Pin the Place

A place is named. Tap where you think it is on the map. The closer your pin, the more points — scored by distance in kilometres. Pinch or scroll to zoom in for accuracy.

Land Route

You get a start and a destination country — only those two are shown. Name (or pick) a country that borders where you are and lies on the way; each correct step appears on the map until you arrive.

Rivers & Lakes

A river or lake is highlighted on the map. Choose or type which one it is.

Who Am I?

You see a country's neighbours — the countries it borders. Work out which country sits in the middle and name it (choice or typing).

Trace the River

A river is named and the map zooms to its region. Draw its course with your finger or mouse; you're scored on how closely your line follows the real river.

Where's That From?

An animal, dish or symbol is shown. Pick or type the country it's most associated with.

Name All

Each round shows a theme, like “Countries in South America” or “The 10 largest countries”. Name every country that fits — on easy and medium you tap them from a list, on hard you type them all. Reveal the rest whenever you're stuck.

Mountains & Volcanoes

A pin marks a famous mountain or volcano on the world map. Choose or type its name. Difficulty adds more obscure peaks.

Color the Flag

A blank flag is shown. In Swatch mode pick the correct colour for each highlighted area from four options (you have three lives). In Pro mode, match the exact shade with a colour picker — the closer you get, the more points. Only flags without crests or emblems are used, so every area is a real colour field.

Who Wants to Be a Geo-Nerd?

Answer geography questions that get harder and more obscure each round, with four options each. Three wrong answers and the game is over — how far can you climb?
